Team Atlantic Fusion set to conquer the World's Toughest Row

December is now just around the corner and Team Atlantic Fusion will be attempting to row 3000 miles, as a 4-person mixed-gender crew, across the Atlantic Ocean.

They will be joining crews from all over the world as they embark on this remarkable journey, not just to conquer the waves, but to make a significant impact in the fight against DIPG/DMG.

Rowing 24 hours a day, in 3-hour shifts, for over 5 weeks, they will be battling with sleep deprivation, salt sores, and all the physical extremes inflicted by this race.

They will depart from the start line at La Gomera in the Canaries, to 'Nelson's Dockyard' Antigua in the World’s Toughest Row, formerly known as the 'Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge'

Left with just their own thoughts, and a huge expanse of ocean separating them from their goal, priority remains in getting the boat and themselves safely to the other side.

Annika, Bel, Dave and Molly will attempt the crossing between these two points, after two years of rigorous planning, with attention to every detail.

Their boat 'Cambria' is now safely in transit to the starting point with the Summer months of training and preparation firmly behind them.

One member of the Atlantic Fusion team Dave Fassam, has lived experience of how devastating DIPG brain cancer can be, after his twin daughters lost their childhood friend in 2013.

Katlyn was only 4 years old.

Amazingly the team generously will also donate re-sale funds for the boat after costs, and any equipment that can be re-used by another transatlantic team taking part in 2025.

If you have a business and would still like to help, there is huge global PR for the race, and no better time to get involved, for brand exposure.

Please contact the team directly for sponsorship opportunities.

We wish the team safe travels and every success with arguably the toughest challenge taken on to date for the charity.

We certainly have the bravest supporters for the bravest children, who will be spending this festive season on their epic adventure.
