Support for Respite

Here we would like to provide families with useful information on other local charities that can provide some respite from the traumatic stresses of living with a child with cancer.

'Eva's Angels' is one such charity, parent led and having been through the 'DIPG journey' themselves, Eva's parents Emma and Dean Giles fully understand the importance of family support. They understand how utterly exhausting the fight against cancer becomes for the whole family.

Eva’s Angels now provides short breaks in a six berth caravan situated at Seaview Holiday Park, Whitstable on the Kent coast, for families who are affected by childhood cancer. It is situated by the beach, within walking distance from Tankerton village. There are plenty of restaurants and shops a short drive away in fashionable Whitstable town. Whitstable is located close to the historic City of Canterbury and has easy links to Herne Bay, Broadstairs, Margate, and Dover.
